die kleine stadt ist etwa 2,5h von athen entfernt und gut mit dem auto zu erreichen. während der fahrt sind zahlreiche rohbauten zu sehen die aufgrund der wirtschaftskrise nicht weitergebaut werde konnten. diese bieten einen interessanten anblick und erinnern an le corbusiers konzept namens dom-ino, welches bereits 1914 einen freien grundriss ermöglichte, der frei gestaltet werden konnte da er von konstruktiven zwängen befreit.
the little town can be reached by car easily and the ride from athens to portho cheli takes only 2,5h. on the way to the town you are able to see many building shells which were not finished because of the lack of money during the economic crises. these constructiones remind of le corbusiers dom-ino house that was desiged by him in the year 1914. his concept lives of a open ground plan that can be designed openly without any constructive constraint.
direkt in der umgebung von porto cheli sind verlassene buchten zu finden bei denen man quasi alleine am strand ist da sie sich direkt vor privaten häusern befinden. da es sich um kiesstrände handelt sind hot-stone massagen besonders empfehlenswert. die sonnenuntergänge weisen jeden abend eine andere nuance auf der farbskala auf und sind schön anzusehen. in der nacht ist das meer tiefschwarz und reflektiert das licht des mondes.
near by porto cheli you can find many abondoned bays where you are more or less alone because they are situated directly in front of private houses. because of the shingle beaches it’s possible to get hot-stone massages for free by using the big stones on the beach. the colours of the sunset are different every day and very nice to look at. at night the sea semms to be deep black and reflects the light of the moon in a beautiful way.

die insel ist direkt aus kosta mit dem schiff zu erreichen. die überfahrt dauert nur etwa 15 minuten und kostet 2€ pro person. auf der insel selbst sind einige nette cafes angesiedelt. bei einer wanderung auf den profitis ilias ist es möglich die kleine stadt von oben anzuschauen und unmengen von beinahe freilebenden pferden zu sehen. das beliebteste fortbewegungsmittel auf spetses sind kutschen, squads und moppeds.
