canggu
canggu ist ein aufstrebender stadtteil der im gegenteil zu kuta und seminyak noch eine ruhige und entspannte atmosphäre aufweist. noch gibt es hier vorallem kleine hotel, allerdings wird an allen ecken und enden gebaut. die bevorzugte bauweise der balineser ist der massivbau in stahlbeton, wobei die gerüste für die schalungen nach wie vor aus bambus bestehen. besonders bekannt ist canggu für seine zahlreichen surfspots. im juni kann man zum teil menschenleere strände geniessen und den surfern beim wellenreiten zusehen.
the village of canggu still has a calm and relaxed atmosphere on the contrary to kuta and seminyak. by now you can find only small hotels at this part of the city but there are many construction sides in the area. the new buildings are mostly made of armored concrete and bamboo is used as scaffold. canggu is especially known for it’s great surfspots. when you come here in june you can experience almost empty beaches and watch the surfers when they catch the waves.
