krimmler wasserfälle
mit einer fallhöhe von 385 m sind die krimmler wasserfälle die höchsten wasserfälle österreichs. sie liegen direkt im nationalpark hohe tauern in salzburg. in drei fallstufen stürzen sie die krimmler ache bis ins tal hinunter. ausserhalb der saison ist der andrang an besuchern nicht besonders hoch, allerdings kann man auch ende april noch von schnee überrascht werden.
the waterfalls in krimml are the highest waterfalls in austria with a head of water over 385 m. they are located directly in the high tauern national park in salzburg. furthermore the water falls in 3 steps to the valley of krimml. off peak there is not a big run to the location but it‘s possible to get caught by surprisingly falling snow in the end of april.
