bukit bintang
im kontrast zu den modernen gebäuden und wolkenkratzern steht das viertel namens bukit bintang. dieses befindet sich direkt im zentrum und bildet einen kulturellen hotspot. die meist 3 stöckigen wohnbauten beherbergen zahlreiche lokale, massagestudios und shoppingmöglichkeiten im erdgeschoss. des weiteren sind die gebäude dreckig, trashig und abgefuckt, typisch asiatisch. klingt irgendwie nicht besonders einladend, aber ein ganz besonderer charme liegt hier in der luft. die gassen haben flair und charakter.
the contrast to the new buildings and skyscrapers can be found in bukit bintang. the hood is located in the center if the city and a hotspot for the people. you can find restaurants, massage studios and shopping opportunitis at the ground floor of the mostly 3 leveled buildings. furthermore the constructions are typicall asien ones, trashy, dirty, fuckedup. that doesn’t sound very nice but there is a certain kind of flair in the streets. i like it a lot.
